| Chair Yoga - Royal Oak Woman's Club MON 2010-03-01 On March 1, 2010, the Royal Oak Woman's Club will hold a 7:00 pm meeting at their clubhouse at 404 S. Pleasant Street at Fourth Street in Royal Oak. Sandra Rome, a registered Yoga Teacher, will speak on "Chair Yoga, an Introduction to the Practice." Members will be allowed to experience the benefits of yoga without getting down on the floor, which is great for the workplace, air, plane or car travel and for those with limitations. They are urged to wear something casual to the meeting. The Royal Oak Woman's Club is a service organization, which supports many local charities and provides scholarships to Royal Oak High School seniors pursuing an education in the medical field. Membership is open to all women regardless of residency. Women who may be interested in learning more about this organization with the possibility of joining are welcome to visit any meeting.
